Life Purpose Bull***t

My blog is meant to be about Happiness, Growth and Spirituality, yet here I am equating ‘Life Purpose’ with bull***t! What on earth possessed me to say such a thing?

I think everyone looks for their life purpose at some point in time. Some of us even focus so much on finding it that we forget we have a life outside of it! But what if truly, our life purpose was actually to live our best life?

Think about it. Whatever your life purpose is, whether you have figured that out or no, it must definitely be something that resonates with who you are. It will also be something that ‘fits’ what you want your life to be like and which would make you feel a tingling of anticipation once you think of it. For truly, anything that we were supposedly sent to do in this lifetime from before we were born, must have been divinely decided. Following this logic, we can only ever find that special ‘task’ or ‘mission’ whilst we are in a mode where we are at peace with ourselves and in love with who we are, what we stand for, and what we are living.

So the last thing you want to do is to stop living whilst searching for that special vocation as though your very life depended on it. For in any obsession, the predominant thought in our mind is that of lack, rather than of being whole and complete as we are. And in thinking that we are somehow lacking, we can never live fully and positively and make the absolute most of our life, whatever our life is.

So stop thinking of that ‘Purpose’ with such gusto and live your whole life that way instead. Cliché though it may be, I do really think that life is the journey and not the destination, so even considering that some of us might feel deep down that we were sent here to Earth with a particular task at hand, rest assured that it will most definitely show itself to you when it is the right time, but only if you are already in the right mode, which is to be living your absolute best life.
